“TOO MUCH!!” Utah Billboard deemed inappropriate

Apparently people weren’t happy with that billboard in Utah County that said “We Love Soaking Too.”

The billboard was for a hot tub company and used a sexual term that has become famous in Utah. Some people think it’s clever, others say it’s too much, and still others say they’re against billboards altogether.

“Visibility pollution and distractions on the road.”

I was driving down I-15 a while back and it was absolutely overwhelming how many billboards there were. Utah is terrible. It’s not great here, but the interstate corridor in Utah is just overwhelming with them.”

That’s correct. Billboards can be seen everywhere and especially along the interstate corridor he speaks of. Many of them are flashy and some are funny. I don’t think they’re distracting enough to cause problems while driving.

But the idea of eliminating billboards entirely was well received.

“I was thinking about it yesterday. If there was a Tik Tok trend that convinced people to turn to the advertising companies (and not the billboard companies) and tell them they wouldn’t buy their products because they’re littering our skyline, then…” The idea might have some traction.

It’s all about money. We already know they’re not doing particularly well considering every Julia billboard is an unsold billboard.”

Honestly, I think the billboards are entertainment. I’m excited to go because the companies that buy the billboards in Utah are taking risks. They try to be funny, even if they don’t always succeed. Las Vegas billboards are 100% injury lawyers. So which would you prefer?
