Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. — The Track & Field teams of the University of Southeasters Louisiana have 14 podium positions with 13 personal bests when the outdoor season on Saturday in the Lurline Hamilton Invitational in the Bernie Moore Track Stadium of LSU and in the Louisiana classic in the Home Bank Foughcer & Track complex started.

Most of Southeastern’s campaign came in Baton Rouge, where the main quota competed. The first medal of the day came in the men’s hammer throw at the Lurline Hamilton Invitational when Gerrit Visser’s third litter lasted 53.17 meters (174,5 inches) and took second place after all litters were completed.
