Trump will receive his striking (and probably expensive) military parade in DC

But neither Bowser nor military commander seem ready to challenge Trump this time.

The president recently created a new Federal Task Force to advise him and the city officials about how to improve criminal fights in the district. Sources say that the Task Force has its first session on Monday. No local official is a member of the Task Force. Bowser, who says that she maintains a “strategic” attitude towards Trump, rejects the president who threatens the entire local government.
