Tulan’s Came Willams enters the transfer portal. See which other players could lose the wave. | Tulane

Tulanes came Williams, who was appointed to the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman team in men’s basketball last week, entered the transfer portal on Monday and is the first confirmed departure of a handful of a team that showed a lot of promise in the league game.

The ESPN -draft analyst Jonathan Givony reported on Williams’ agent and a source first confirmed it via X, formerly Twitter, and confirmed it. Givony added that Williams would also “test the NBA design of draft water”.

Williams, a 6-foot 8 striker from Lafayette, who scored an average of 9.3 points, had one of his best games of the season when the green wave with the fourth seed against Memphis 78-77 lost in a heartbreaking AAC tournament semi-final against Memphis 78-77. He scored 16 points in 5-of-7 shooting, including a binding 3 pointer with 2:32 on the left and got eight rebounds.

His season was unevenly uneven, but six days earlier he scored 24 points in an 85-68 race from the defense of the AAC tournament champion. He met the second most common Treys in the team (63) and had 41.2% of them and was second with 35 in blocked shots.

In addition to Williams, a source revealed that three other players did not take part in the first college basketball crown on Monday, a first off -season tournament in Las Vegas, and is expected to enter the portal. All-Aac player of the second team Kaleb Banks, a 6-foot 8 transfer from Indiana, who achieved an average of 14.7 points and one team best 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks, is together with the most important backup Guard Mari Jordan, who scored an average of 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds. Jordan, a newcomer Georgia Transfer, scored 10 points in the two AAC tournament games and provided energy at both ends of the soil.

The other is Junior Guard Michael Eley, a Siena transfer who scored an average of 1.3 points in 12 games.

The versatile Junior Center Gregg Glenn, which achieved an average of 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists, announced last week that he had returned next year.

The Point Guard Rowan Brumbaugh, an all-AAC selection of the first team, which achieved an average of 15.7 points and 4.8 assists, was in training together with the Backcourt Mate Asher Woods on Monday, which scored an average of 19.0 points in the last four games of the wave. Neither has publicly committed to return, but sources expect them to be back.

Tulane (19-14) became fourth in the AAC after he was chosen for 11th place in the pre-season survey of the coaches, with coach Ron Hunter to replace all five starters in the sixth year. The wave will be in the first first round of the 16-team college basketball crown from USC (16-17) next Tuesday at 10 p.m.
