Türkiye, Pakistan confirmed the cooperation, obligation to increase the ties

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif confirmed the determination of their countries to find solutions for global problems in the capital Ankara on Tuesday and to strengthen bilateral relationships.

“We are pleased to see that we act in harmony in almost every edition,” Erdoğan said in a joint press conference with the Pakistani Prime Minister.

He continued the determined attitude of both countries against terrorism.

“Türkiye and Pakistan are among the leading countries that show the strongest attitude in the fight against terrorism. Türkiye continues to support Pakistan in his efforts to combat terrorism,” he said.

Erdoğan also praised Pakistan’s efforts to end the war in Gaza, and called it one of the countries that reacted most to the ongoing genocide.

He found that both countries are determined to further improve their initiatives in the coming time.

“We will continue to work together at the establishment of an independent and sovereign state of Palestine,” he added. Both countries have repeatedly confirmed their common attitude for Palestine.

In February, Erdoğan visited Pakistan to strengthen the fraternal relationships with the country.

Türkiye and Pakistan enjoy cheap relationships. The high -ranking Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) is the main platform at the management level, which was significantly involved in the further determination of bilateral relationships.

Ankara and Islamabad have also strengthened bilateral defense and security cooperation in recent years.
