Tyrese Haliburton, Aaron Nesmith, Myles Turner, Pascal Siakam excluded

Minneapolis-Die Pacers will miss four starters against the Timberwolves in the game on Monday evening, since the All-Star-Point Guard Tyrese Haliburton, the striker Aaron Nesmith and the Center Myles Turner, were all excluded with injuries, said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle in his press conference on Monday.

All three were classified as questionable in the game on Monday. Haliburton has a painful lower back, gymnast a left hip. Nesmith is equipped for the excess of injury management for the sprain of the left ankles, which cost him 35 games from November 1 to January 16. All-Star striker Pascal Siakam was excluded yesterday for personal reasons. Rookie Wing Johnny Furphy was also excluded with an illness.

This requires an almost complete overhaul. The Pacers move Andrew Nembhard from Shooting Guard to Point Guard, his natural position and reserve Bennedict Mathurin, Jarace Walker, Obi Toppin and Thomas Bryant in the starting line -up. As a result, the Point Guard TJ McConnell, Wing Ben Sheppard, the center Tony Bradley and the two-way contract player Rayj Dennis, Quenton Jackson and Enrique Freeman from the bank remains available.

You will compete against a Minnesota team who won eight games in a row and is 40-29.

“We have a deep squad and we all have our two lanes here,” said Carlisle. “We have talented deep people who die for such an opportunity. We had a good preparatory meeting this morning. I am looking forward to you. You are currently playing one of the hottest teams in the league. It is very challenging, but Nembhard will start in Tys Stead and we will go from there.”

The Pacers did not have a great opportunity to put together a schedule and work on it while they are on the road and broken off on Friday and Saturday evening in Philadelphia and Milwaukee. They released Sunday and had an optional shootaround on Monday to put together installation combinations that they didn’t have all season.

“Obviously it is difficult to get these players out,” said Sheppard. “But it is a good opportunity for the rest of the boys to pick up each other and simply play freely and simply play pacer basketball.

Having Out out with Siakam, Haliburton, Turner and Nesmith also means that the Pacers are missing four of their five best scorers. Siakam leads the team both in the hit and 20.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Haliburton is second with 18.5 points and occupies fourth place in the NBA with 9.0 assists per game and has a nine-game series of points assisters with 119 assists compared to 10 sales since the All-Star break.

Turner scores an average of 15.5 points per game to reach 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. Nesmith achieved an average of 11.2 points per game, including 16.2 per game since the All-Star break. He scored a career high of 30 points against the Bucks on Saturday.

As a result, the Pacers will remain on average with two players in double numbers in Mathurin (15.9 ppg) and Nembhard (10.1 ppg).
