UNC basketball star, which is expected to end up on Pistons in 2025, NBA design

The days of playing ping -pong balls in the NBA draft lottery are behind the Detroit Piston. After the pistons had a high chance of number 1 a season ago, the pistons are on their way to the post -season game for the first time since 2019.

Due to their regular success from 2024-2025, the pistons will probably separate their first selection in the first round. The Minnesota Timberwolves grab it right outside the lottery.

If the season ended today, the first choice of the pistons would only come in 37th place on the second day until 37th place. According to the latest NBA draft from BLEACHER Report 2025 NBA Draft, it is predicted that the pistons take the UNC basketball star Ian Jackson.

“Ultimately, NBA teams should have a clear picture of his role, archetype and restrictions for the next level. He has enough self-protection, strong driving and self-confident shot in order to provide immediate offensive or scoring chalepower, but reduce stripes and zero games.”

Ironically, Jonathan Wasserman from Br Malik Beasley used Jacksons Pro Comp. Beasley, who signed the Pistons in summer, was crucial for the success of the team with his efficient, highly volume three-point shooting that came from the bank.

Jackson comes from New York and has completed his first semester at UNC with 35 games played and created 12 starts. The 20-year-old selected 12 points per game and 46 percent of the field and 40 percent out of three floors.

The pistons had a clear plan to surround Cade Cunningham with high -volume three -point shooters to help with the floor and keep step with today’s NBA by achieving a lot of perimeter. Jackson has proven to be an efficient shooter from the NCAA level. That should help its value in the NBA design.
