United plays for large awards

A number of our stars were appointed as a nominated for the award in the annual Andrew Gace MVP Awards Night on Monday evening.

Chris Goulding is one of 12 players who were nominated for a season for the Liga MVP Prize, in which he average average its highest value in over a decade, while he again gave the league on three points. Goulding finished second in the MVP Award vote in NBL24.

Shea Ili could possibly take home his second Damian Martin Trophy in a row for the defender of the year. An award for which he and the teammates Marcus Lee and Matthew Dellvedova were nominated.

Ili is currently on average a career high in Steals, while Lee leads the entire competition in blocked shots, even though he plays less than 18 minutes per game.

Ian Clark is also in the race for a second -closing sixth -man victory, the Mitimport Marcus Lee.

Dean Vickerman can win the Lindsay Gaze Coach of the Year Award together with all nine other coaches.

A group of experts chose nominated for the MVP, the next generation, the best sixth man, Damian Martin Trophy for the defensive player of the year and the most improved player.

The expert committee for the awards consists of Andrew Gaze, Olgun Uluc, Derek Rucker, Michael Cedar, John Casey and Alice Kunek.

The head coaches and captains of all teams and the expert committee vote for the MVP, while the head coaches, a co -trainer and captains of all teams for the next generation, the best sixth man, Damian Martin Trophy for the defensive player of the year Improved players, Lindsay Gaze Trophy for the trainer of the year and the All-NBL First and Second Teams.

The Andrew Gaze MVP Awards Night will be broadcast on Monday evening at the Kayo and NBL website AEDT from 7:30 p.m. AEDT.
