Queens, ny – The winners of five games in a row will drive the baseball team from St. John to Rock Hill, SC, where it will compete in a series with three games against Wintrop, starting on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Winthrop Ball Park.

The competition on Saturday is planned for a start at 2 p.m., while the game is scheduled to start on Sunday at 1 p.m., and the meetings on Saturday are streamed on ESPN+ and the competition on Sunday will only be an audio broadcast. Live statistics will be available on redstormsports.com.

The Red Storm (8-11) has now won five games in a row and seven of its last eight games, most recently on Tuesday in the Jack Kaiser Stadium and on Wednesday with 7: 5, with 11: 7.

Sean Britt And Jace Jeremiah Runed the way for the red storm against the Jaspers and counted three goals each on Tuesday. Tyler Longoria Was invited to Big East Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after he was equipped with the 16th Inning win from the Bullpen during the Johnnies 16-Inning victory of the Johnnies against Maine from the Bullpen. In just the third appearance of his college career, the newcomer made four innings, only gave up one goal and threw a six punchouts on the way to his first career victory.

St. John’s and Winthrop will meet for the seventh time in the program history when you fight on Friday evening. The Red Storm leads the series 5-0: 1 and holds a 3-0-all times against the Eagles in South Carolina.

Last season, the Johnnies went 2-0: 1 against Winthrop and took the first game 6-0 before shared their Doubleheader (W 18-4, T 6: 6) the next day. Anthony Brienza became the Big East Honor Roll after the series and listed three triple in the team’s double header.

Winthrop will welcome the Johnnies with an overall record of 12: 10 and a 2-1 mark in the Big South in South Carolina. The Eagles won three games in a row, most recently two out of three against Presbyterian, before reaching the College of Charleston 9: 3 on Wednesday evening.
