UnlV basketball teams ready to rock March

Las Vegas (KTNV) – Although every basketball team in the Berg -West -Herr- and women’s tournaments will get a shot on the conference title next week, both the Lady Rebels and the Runnin ‘Rebs’ are not yet concentrated on the after season.

“As a child growing up, growing up and watching boys, going to play as a child and watching the jelly as he is filled out and a dream lives, everything means,” said the senior striker of Rebels, Jalen Hill, about Senior Night on Tuesday.

The native Vegas is one of four seniors who are celebrated in their last week of the regular game of the season, and hope to use Runnin’s recent successes because they won five of their last six games.

In her recent victory against Uncival in the state, the squad recorded a high season high of 48 boards, while he shot 20 out of 21 from the free -wire line, even though the Star Guard DJ Thomas had assumed due to an injury.

“If you have guys in and from the line -up, it is much easier to concentrate on the defensive side,” said Kevin Kruger, head coach of Runnin ‘rebels. “Since the games summarize here with two links, we have much offensive possessions, which we hopefully continue to improve efficiency.”

The Mountain West player of the week, Jaden Henley, has improved the offensive efficiency of the team that shoots the successive career highs, and the Lady Rebs also has a winner in her team this week.

Meadow Roland collected her fourth newcomer during the week this season and the three -time defending champions of the defending champions on the mission to bring more hardware home.

“Hungry than ever before,” said Alyssa Brown, senior striker of Lady Rebs. “I am a senior, this is my last chance to organize a show for vegas. It’s all we talked about.”

“Our message to the team is: in August, September, October, months and months, you worked too hard to stop what you are doing now,” said Lady Rebs head coach Lindy La Rocque. “You worked too hard, so let’s end this thing.”

The Runnin ‘Rebels is typing on Tuesday, March 4, at the Thomas & Mack Center at 7 p.m. against San Diego State.

The regular season finale is on the street against New Mexico on Friday and the last regular season game of the Lady Rebs is gone against Wyoming on Wednesday.
