Victor Wembanyama became the youngest center in NBA history with a 30-point triple-double on Sunday.

He scored 34 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks and one steal as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings 127-125 at the Golden 1 Center.

The French prodigy made 11/17 from the field, including 5/9 three-pointers.

“I feel very lucky. Before every game and every day I just say “thank you” and remind myself that I am one of the luckiest people in the world and that I have the opportunity to live this incredible life.” He described his experience as a generational talent who showcased his talents in the NBA.

Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis struggled to contain Wemby along with his teammates, scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes. “He’s shooting the ball better and better. That makes it difficult,” He commented on guarding the 20-year-old.

Another European triple-double on NBA Sundays: Nikola Jokic combined 28 points with 14 rebounds and 11 assists. With his eighth triple-double of the 2024-25 NBA regular season, he passed Magic Johnson with 138 and for third place on the NBA’s all-time list.

Despite the Serbian superstar’s brilliant performance, the Denver Nuggets lost 126-122 to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome.

Croatian starter Ivica Zubac held six points on 2/9 from the field, but had eight rebounds and five assists over 35 minutes. Frenchman Nicolas Batum finished the game with three points, five assists and three rebounds in 23 minutes.
