VONTAE DAVIS ’cause of death, who ruled indefinitely, says in report

The cause of the death of the former NFL cornerback vontae Davis was published on Friday by the Broward County (Florida) (Florida) on Friday.

Davis was no longer responded on April 1, 2024 in his home fitness studio in Southwest Ranches, Florida. He was 35 years old.

No foul is suspected, the police said at the time.

“Due to the entirety of circumstances, including the inconsistencies between the scene and the knowledge of autopsy, the cause and type of death are best classified in this case,” says the autopsy report.

Under the category of “blunt force injuries”, the report states a 1.5-inch-red abrasion near Davis’ right eye, a small “subgalal bleeding” near his right back bone and “layering of the muscles of the back”, which showed “bleeding in the deep muscles of the upper back”. The report did not speculate how Davis suffered these injuries.

The toxicological report, which was part of the publication on Friday, also showed the presence of several substances, including amphetamines/methamphetamines.

Davis was a selection in Miami Dolphins in the first round in 2009. He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 and made the Pro Bowl twice (2014, ’15) in his six seasons with the team. Davis also performed in a game with the Buffalo Bills in 2018.

VONTAE DAVIS, the younger brother of the former Pro Bowl Tight End Vernon Davis, had 22 career interceptions in 121 games.
