Vote for Player of the Week | FIBA basketball

MIES (Switzerland) – Week 8 of the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League season is now set, and now that we have digested the events of Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday presents us with the opportunity to reflect on the best individual performances.

The eighth team of the week consists of Elijah Mitrou Long, Dylan Ennis, Brandon Randolph, Gytis Radzevicius And Terrell Carter.

Mitrou-Long was one of Hapoel Netanel Holon’s heroes as they came from behind to claim a victory against FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets. The skilled guard gave Holon the lead late in the game with another crucial three-pointer in his BCL career.

Speaking of grip, Ennis managed twice in a row to give UCAM Murcia a six-point lead over Manisa Basket, erasing the deficit from the first game and putting Murcia in the lead before the final matchday of the regular season.

Randolph was unstoppable as RASTA Vechta stayed alive in the fight for the play-ins, beating Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola with one game to go. His contribution was even more impressive considering that Vechta would have been eliminated with a defeat in Greece.

Rytas Vilnius had another crazy game with packed stands and Vilnius native Gytis Radzevicius continued his quest for the season’s MVP award. The striker had impressive statistics and the decisive basket to reach +10 in the end, completely erasing the deficit in the first match.

Finally, Igokea m:tel had the most dominant big man of the day, with Carter filling the box score from left to right while saving Igokea’s season. They have only two wins in their last 14 BCL games, but both came against Nanterre 92, and that could be crucial at the end of the regular season.

You can now vote for Player of the Week. The winner will be announced on Friday when the poll closes on the BCL’s official social media channels: Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.
