Vybz Cartel Releases ‘Viking (Vybz is king)’ 10th anniversary edition with seven new tracks: Listen

Vybz Cartel marks the 10th anniversary of his album ‘Viking (Vybz is King)’ with a new edition with seven other new tracks.

Today (Friday, January 31) the new edition arrives in the run-up to the 2025 Grammy Awards, for which the legendary Dancehall artist received his first nomination. It also comes from a historic home in Kingston, Jamaica, after his release from a lifelong prison sentence last July. This judgment for the alleged murder of an employee was lifted in the appeal procedure at the beginning of last year.

All new tracks contained on the Deluxe new edition of ‘Viking (Vybz is King)’ were recorded in prison in the last months after the publication of Kartels.
