Washington State Patrol investigates fatal crash near Pullman

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating a fatal two-car crash near Pullman.

WSP said the accident occurred on Highway 270 at Airport Road, seven miles east of Pullman.

According to WSP, the accident was initially reported as a serious accident with injuries, but was later changed to a fatal accident.

According to WSP, a car was turning westbound from Garrison Road onto Highway 270 when it was struck by another eastbound car.

Highway 270 in the area was closed, and WSP said there was an eastbound lane in the area allowing traffic through. WSP said WSDOT was also on scene and planned a detour onto Airport Road.

WSP also said that no drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. WSP said the cause of the crash was a lack of yield.
