This Thursday football thing went pretty well for both the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions last week.

They’re running it again this week.

This time around, no turkey legs will be provided to the winner after the game, but NFL fans can give thanks for Thursday night’s matchup.

To watch the 9-3 Packers try to take the NFC North Division lead from the 11-1 Lions, you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription — unless you live in the Milwaukee or Green Bay area.

While the streaming service has exclusive rights to broadcast the games, the NFL also allows over-the-air broadcasts in local markets.

The Packers won in Detroit last season and need another win at Ford Field to keep their division title hopes alive. Offensive fireworks are expected. It’s no secret that both the Packers and Lions are missing key pieces on defense.

TV channels: Amazon Prime. The game will also be broadcast on Channel 6 in Milwaukee and Channel 26 in Green Bay

Start time: 7:15 p.m

Packers vs. Lions will be broadcast nationally on Amazon Prime in Week 14 of the NFL season. Al Michaels (play-by-play) and Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) will call the game from the booth at Ford Field, while Kaylee Hartung reports from the sideline.

Pete Dougherty: The Lions are the highest-scoring team in the league and the Packers’ offense appears to be getting going with the recovery of Jordan Love, so this has the makings of a shootout. Whoever runs the ball better might have an advantage in keeping the ball out of the other team’s hands, although these run-oriented attacks need to end in touchdowns, not field goals, to work. Detroit’s identity is based on being more physical and tougher than anyone else, but the Packers have a more physical edge to their team this season because of what Josh Jacobs has brought to their running game. As with many games, it could come down to which quarterback plays better. The Packers will have to force the immobile Jared Goff into some big mistakes. However, the assumption here is that the Lions’ running game will keep the Packers’ rush at bay and the Lions will pull out the win. Lions 35, Packers 31

Tom Silverstein: With a win on Thursday, the Packers have a chance to prepare for a blazing hot December. They really haven’t beaten anyone of note and until they can show they can beat the Detroits, Philadelphias and Minnesotas of the world, they’re just a joke. Matt LaFleur will need to attack the Lions’ struggling defense with all his might because this game will likely be an offensive battle. It will take a lot of yards and a lot of points to beat the Lions. The Packers have what it takes. Packers 37, Lions 31

Ryan Wood: Before the season, I picked the Lions to not only win the NFC North but also represent the conference in the Super Bowl. They showed their mix of talent and experience is hard to beat with a comfortable win at Lambeau Field a month ago. Their 11-1 record, en route to the NFC’s highest overall playoff seeding, shows they are the best team in the conference. But the Lions are also decimated by injuries, and this game is not on the schedule to be shorthanded. In their third game in 12 days, the Lions will be without their top pass rusher, a starting linebacker, two backup linebackers, a starting defensive end and a starting safety. Their starting right tackle and three other defensive linemen did not practice this week. Decimated. The Packers lost to the Lions a month ago because they played poorly, not because they lacked the talent to win. And they’re playing their best ball of the season, beating San Francisco and Miami last week by a combined score of 68-27. In a game where attrition reigns supreme, the Packers have no excuse for leaving Detroit without a win. Packers 27, Lions 24

Dominique Yates: If the Packers beat the Lions, this is the game to do it. It’s hard to ignore the number of injuries in Detroit. The Lions have a few players behind on defense. Offensively, left tackle Taylor Decker is a game-time decision, but the offense is still in good shape. The Lions struggled in the second half against the Bears, and I wouldn’t be surprised if all the injuries caught up with them at some point. I believe Green Bay can win this game and has the talent to do so, but I feel like Detroit will find a way. Lions 24, Packers 21
