Rafael Perez, “Americans Just Need to Relax,” Op-Ed, December 1, 2024. Mr. Perez does not understand public opinion. Mr. Donald J. Trump is elected as the 47th President of the United States of America and was elected by an electoral college and popular majorities.

Comparing President Trump to a piece of wood is not only childish but also disrespectful. Perez may not remember food prices, gas prices, inflation, or world peace during President Trump’s first term, but I do. Every member Trump chooses as a Cabinet member is superior to Biden’s Cabinet in every way. What a circus that was.

Since November 5, 2024, America has captured the world’s attention and is giving America the respect it deserves.

Americans of all stripes who voted for Trump share the same sentiments that Trump promised us at his rallies. Hope, security, patriotism, pride in America and the knowledge that the citizens of the United States of America come first in domestic and international negotiations. You can’t buy what we MAGAs think about November 5, 2024.

The ones who should relax are the left-leaning progressive Democrats who remain busy blocking, berating, and rejecting progress. Get over it!
