Weather in Houston: rain, storms possible Sunday possible

Houston – – Much more humidity returns on Sunday with a few morning drizzle and some scattered showers that are possible in the afternoon and evening. Some models show a striker risk late Sunday until early Monday.

During this time, the Storm Prediction Center also shows an easy opportunity for strong storms north of the Houston area.

It is certainly possible that everything will remain good north of our area, but it could be a close call.

Stay warm for the extended forecast

Saturday morning is the last cool morning that we will feel for a long time. The rest of March should bring above -average temperatures, and depths in the 30s or low 40s are rare for April.

Next real chance of rain

The beginning of the week will contain fair weather, but the showers and storms are expected to return to the south -east texas at the end of the week. Thursday and Friday is the next opportunity for rain or thunderstorms to return to the forecast.
