Week 16 IDP matchups on exploit and streaming options

In this area, weekly goals range from individual players and position groups to entire defensive units. IDP leagues are like snowflakes. So if you have any specific questions, head over to our subscriber discord, find the IDP channel, and tag me with any questions you have. Some of you play in leagues where all of these players are already owned, and some of you play in IDP leagues where there are only 3-4 players on each team, so the players listed below may not even be on yours Radar, so don’t be afraid to get in touch. Also, don’t forget to check out the Waiver Wire column and IDP rankings as well.

Sometimes I refer to a player who is used almost universally in all IDP leagues, but perhaps this will help you with a possible start/sit decision you’ve been wrestling with. These decisions become even more important at this point in the season, so we want to use all the information possible to make them right. This week I’m trying to focus on players who are likely to be available in more leagues if you need waiver help to finish the year on top.

The Waiver Wire column should also be helpful, but I want to use this space weekly to highlight some of the best matchup spots on the roster, along with any corresponding defensemen who could benefit from them.

Week 16 IDP matchups to exploit

Green Bay Packers pass rush

This is a tough group to rely on week in, week out, but we’re in the home stretch and if you need to reach for the fences in Week 16, this is a good place to do it. After nearly leading the Saints to a win against the Commanders in Week 15, Spencer Rattler will likely start at quarterback for the Saints on Monday night.

Rattler’s pressure-to-sack rate was over 31% during his time as a starter, which would lead the league if he were a weekly starting quarterback. The Saints are nearly two touchdown underdogs, so we should see a lot of dropback attempts for the fifth-round rookie, and that’s what we’re looking for. Rashan Gary would be the first option if available, followed by Kinsley Enabare, Kenny Clark and Lukas Van Ness.
