Jenny McCarthy was a co-host on Dick Clark’s rockin’ New Year’s Eve for many years, but if you tune in to the 2025 New Year’s Eve broadcast, you won’t see it.

The 52-year-old television personality began co-hosting the special Ryan Seacrest In 2010, she appeared in Times Square every year for almost a decade.

Jenny ultimately decided to end her co-hosting duties in 2020.

She explained the decision back in October 2020, just a week after the announcement Ryan of her plans to leave the special. She continued saying Live! with Kelly and Ryan“We shoot Masked Singer 3 in December and January and my son, who is now 17, said, ‘Can we please stay home this year?’ He’ll be 18, he won’t want anything to do with me.”

Jenny continued: “But I have to say it was the best time. Working with Ryanit’s a dream. And we can’t say that about a lot of people in this business. He is a dream. That’s why I thank you. And I’ll be so excited watching you from my couch.”

Before New Year’s Eve 2019 Jenny‘s husband Donnie Wahlberg revealed what they would do instead of appearing in Times Square.
