Where to Find Light the World Giving Machines This Holiday Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Donating to those in need is now as easy as stopping at a vending machine. Thanks to the efforts of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, finding a donation machine near you is easy.

The church has placed donation machines across the state, allowing all Utahns to give back to their community.

Local and international nonprofit organizations use the funds donated through Light the World Giving Machines to help those in need. The church says Utah organizations receiving the funds include organizations that fight domestic violence, help at-risk children and foster children, provide food distribution sites and work to support veterans, among others.

“The Giving Machine is impactful in many ways,” said Curtis Blair, a representative of the nonprofit Meals on Wheels. “It allows for more routes. This allows us to cover a larger area. We can expand our reach.”
