Where to Find the Best Christmas Lights in Dallas

Dallas has plenty of dazzling Christmas decorations to enjoy this time of year.

What we lack in snow, we make up for in beautiful Christmas lights. The Dallas Express has once again compiled a list of the best neighborhoods and homes to visit to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Miracle on the 134thTh Street (Celina, November 23rd – December 23rd)

Maybe it’s just a family home, but don’t be fooled; Miracle on 134th Street is a professional-level production. Expect a forest filled with over two million Christmas lights and Santa’s workshop spanning over 8,500 square feet. Located at 10455 County Road 133.

Regent’s Park Luminary Even (McKinney, December 14-15)

This year marks the eighth annual event, dropping more than 2,500 lighted paper bags into the neighborhood for two days only.

Burkman Holiday Home (Frisco, launching December 1st)

You may know this iconic house from ABCs The big Christmas light fight TV series. At 3809 Hazelhurst Drive, guests will be treated to a display of over 100,000 lights, animatronic figures and more.

The Gift of Light (McKinney, November 28th – January 1st)
The Joules Cornetti House at 8624 Palermo Way will feature tons of lights, bounce houses and more. The lighting is active daily from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m

The Movie House (Allen, November 28th – January 1st)

Highlights from classic holiday films are accompanied by music and thousands of lights. The 15-minute show repeats nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 1600 Wagon Wheel Drive.

Tell Family Lights (Keller, November 28th – December 31st)

More than 60 songs will be featured at the Tell Family Lights show, held daily at 5016 Keating St. from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Stay in the Light (Rockwall, December 1-25)

The Hughes House at 1655 Plummer Dr. has more than 100,000 lights. The show is in loving memory of Nathaniel Hughes, son of homeowners Brenda and David. The show runs every evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m

Deerfield Holiday Lights (Plano, December 1-30)

This northwest Plano subdivision goes over the top during the holiday season, featuring carriage rides, dancing Santas, and of course, lots of lights. The event is free and takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekends.

Interlochen Lights (Arlightoin, December 14-26)

This free event in northwest Arlington features more than 200 decorated homes. The lights are active every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Glenbrook Christmas (Bedford, December 1-31)

Add a little Lone Star flair to your celebrations when the Bedford neighborhood hosts its Texas Expo daily from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m
