Where to see Santa in Hoboken this holiday season

HOBOKEN, NJ – Visits and pictures with Santa are a treasured tradition for many families. In Hoboken and Jersey City, kids have several opportunities to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Here are the details:

The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Business Alliance invite residents to the annual Christmas tree lighting on Wednesday, December 11th at 5 p.m. The celebration will take place at 11th Street and Washington Street. It includes entertainment with Elvis the Elf and live performances from Hoboken
Youth and the Goldenrod Chorale as well as a special visit from Santa Claus himself. Find out more here.

Tree lightings and events are planned for December 2nd and 3rd in Jersey City. Details about tree lighting in the city can be found here. The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District will host an event featuring a bounce house, hot chocolate, cookies and gifts from Santa. Find out more about this celebration here.

Santa also holds court at several area malls.

You can head to Newport Center Mall in Jersey City through December 23rd to enjoy the Santa Photo Experience. There is also a special day for pets on December 1st. The mall is located at 30 Mall Drive West, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Double check the details before you go. Find out more here.
