Which streaming service broadcasts the original series “The Walking Dead”?

In 2022, AMC Network aired the final episode of the series The walking dead. The long-running series aired for 12 years with 11 seasons and 177 episodes. The show was based on TWD comics by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead did better than anyone could have imagined and created the TWD Family, a fan base like no other.

On November 20, 2024, the fan community celebrated the second anniversary of the last episode with a post on social media. Fans, cast and crew posted special memories, clips, BTS photos, memes and more to celebrate a series that was more than a “zombie” show. It was a story of survivor, family and resilience that still resonates with many viewers.

The walking dead has been trending heavily since that day and one question keeps coming up, from fans who have watched the series more times than they can count to brand new viewers who have never watched an episode: Where is The Walking Dead streamed?

AMC and Netflix struck a deal in 2011 to host several AMC originals on the streamer. This offer includes The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men, which has since been removed. This deal will reportedly ensure that TWD will be available on Netflix by 2027.

The great thing about the main series deal is that it could easily be renewed due to the ongoing partnership with AMC and Netflix. In August 2024, this collaboration was expanded to offer the streamer 13 additional AMC series.

All seasons The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, And The ones who live are on Netflix after they complete their runs. Daryl Dixon And Dead city have been renewed for additional seasons that could eventually be added to Netflix.
