Who is in the NCAA tournament?

In a little more than a month, intensive speculations and interests will come to an end every week, and the bracket for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament 2025 is unveiled.

Until then, all people in sports can project the 68-team field.

With just a few weeks in the regular 2024-25 season, there are some impending questions when it comes to the bracket for March Madness. Who are the No. 1 Seeds – the teams best to make a Final Four or win a national championship? How many teams could the Gigant Sec get to the tournament? And the most urgent about which teams in the NCAA tournament bubble will get into the dance? And which are exuberant?

Before a loss on Tuesday in the state of Kansas, Arizona has been one of the hottest teams in the country with 13: 1. Texas Tech has been similarly excellent recently, with a loss at Arizona, the only flaw since the 12th January.

Michigan (19-5, 11-2 big ten)
Kentucky (17-7, 6-5 seconds)
Kansas (17-7, 8-5 Big 12)

Memphis will be an interesting test case for the selection committee of the tournament when it comes to seeds. Penny Hardaways Tiger are 5-2 in Quad One games, but have bad advanced metrics compared to their bright record, play in a weak American sports conference and have suffered two quad three losses: at home against Arkansas State and in Temple.

No. 6 seeds

Illinois (17-8, 9-6 big ten)
Missouri (18-6, 7-4 seconds)
Maryland (19-6, 9-5 big ten)
UCLA (18-7, 9-5 big ten)

After memorable news conferences, in which coach Mick Cronin beat his players and the stressful travel schedule of the team, the UCLA won seven before a loss on Tuesday in Illinois in a row. Maybe his madness has a method.

No. 7 seeds

Creighton (18-7, 11-3 Big East)
Louisville (19-6, 12-2 ACC)
Clemson (20-5, 12-2 ACC)
Saint Mary’s (22-4, 12-1 West Coast Conference)

A loss of home against Uconn achieved a winning streak with nine games for Creighton. Louisville and Clemson give the ACC some urgently needed non-duke inclusions and are the only other two teams from the league safely on the field.

New Mexico (21-4, 13-1 Mountain West)
State of Utah (22-3, 12-2 Mountain West)
Gonzaga (19-7, 10-3 West Coast Conference)

The Mountain West will not get six teams in the tournament like last year, but there are a few teams in New Mexico and Utah State more than able to win a game and to offer fear – if not more – for a No -no -no -. 1 seed in the second round.

No. 9 seeds

Mississippi State (17-7, 5-6 seconds)
Baylor (15-9, 7-6 Big 12)
Oregon (17-8, 6-8 big ten)
Ohio State (15-10, 7-7 Big Ten)

Outside of the state of Ohio, the teams have had problems on this seed line recently. The state of Mississippi has lost six of its last eight games, Oregon fell five of his last six and Baylor fell in three of his last five.

West Virginia (15-9, 6-7 Big 12)
Vanderbilt (17-7, 5-6 seconds)
Nebraska (16-9, 6-8 big ten)
Drake (23-2, 12-2 Missouri Valley)

We enter the dreaded Bubble territory. Vanderbilt and West Virginia increased a significant improvement among head coaches in the first year, but have recently suffered some of the conference games. Nebraska won four times in a row in Maryland on Thursday. Under the head coach of the first year, Ben McCollum, Drake in 11 games has the second longest active profit series in Division I and is here as an automatic qualification from the Missouri Valley.

Oklahoma (16-8, 3-8 seconds)
Byu (16-8, 7-6 Big 12)
SMU (19-5, 10-3 ACC) **
Texas (15-10, 4-8 seconds) **
Arkansas (15-9, 4-7 seconds) **
VCU (20-5, 10-2 Atlantic 10) **

After a 13-0 start, Oklahoma won only three of his last 11 games. BYU has played in the bladder in the last six games with four victories, including victories against Baylor and West Virginia. SMU has an impressive record, but has not yet achieved a quad one victory and has only a few ways to earn one. Like his Red River rival, Texas overwhelmed with a 4-8 brand in 2025 after an 11-2 launch in the new year.

In John Calipari’s first season, Arkansas’ talented squad has been in the last six games lately, including two Quad -one victories, for dead VCU and George Mason see the best bets to the automatic berth of the Atlantic 10 to win, but if you come out at the end of the loss, you could stand for a wide range.
