Who is the top recipient at the 2025 CFL combine?

Regina – A good CFL combination can be the beginning of something special.

The recipient of Toronto Argonauts, Kevin Mital, proved exactly that in 2024 a spectacular exhibition in Winnipeg at the CFL combinat in March went to a touchdown in the 111st Gray Cup with the double blue in November.

This means that it is worth investigating which the recipient from CFL design class 2025 could be present in a similar story in eight months.

CFL.CA spoke on the condition of anonymity with several different CFL employees about the recipient class, which took part in the 2025 CFL combination. As usual, the teams didn’t want to reveal much, but a name that was mentioned came from Wilfrid Laurier’s recipient Ethan Jordan.

Jordan showed his speed in the sporty part of the combine on Friday and finished second with 4.44 time in 40-yard-dash. The speed, combined with its productivity in college, will probably attract the attention of clubs during the CFL design on April 29.

“Talk about a man who is productive,” said a CFL staff about Jordan. “It’s a production -based business, and he did that.”

During his career at the Golden Hawks, Jordan caught 243 passes for 3,274 yards and 27 touchdowns and established himself as one of the best recipients in U sports. The Passcatcher played in addition to quarterback Taylor Elgersma, who is also a top -class player in the 2025 design class. Since Elgersma is not available for the combine in Regina, Jordan has the chance to demonstrate his skills that play with different turns and throw the ball.

“To see him without Taylor (Elgersma) next to him, he sees how he separates without his normal quarterback.

“Excited to see how he will compete this weekend.”

“I think it’s a good recipient class,” said another CFL staff. “I think he is of course one of the top, (but) we have to see some of these boys live.”

That is why the CFL combine is such an important part of the recruitment process. Despite all the production that Jordan had in college and the top recipient in the winter edition of the CFL Scouting Bureau among those who visited The Combine, he still has to show that he can compete if the nation’s best players gather before Scouts, General Managers and coaches.

Jordan and the rest of the prospects in Regina will take the field for exercise sessions on Saturday and Sunday that give you the chance to do exactly that, just like Mital a year ago.
