Why ESPN broadcaster was gone

Dick Vitale is one of the decisive and constant figures of College basketball.

After 16 years, Vitale trained in 1979 in ESPN, just a few months after the network’s existence and began to name College basketball games. In the following years and decades, his energy, his exuberance and his charisma made him one of the faces of the game.

He has contributed to offering the soundtrack for some of the most exciting games and the most unforgettable moments of sport. His keywords such as “Windel Dandy” (an excellent newcomer) and “Ptper” (PrimeTime player) were etched in the minds of every college basketball fans.

In recent years, however, vital has not been the same type of facility as the reporting on College basketball from ESPN like so long, and other analysts were seated for the biggest games in the network. Vitale had to withdraw from his tasks in the air several times since 2021 when he announced for the first time that he had undergone treatment to remove melanoma.
