Will Marshon Lattimore make Commanders debut against Titans?

The Washington Commanders are down three games after a 7-2 start to the season. They have also suffered two straight losses to NFC East opponents. They desperately need a win.

Led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, the Commanders are currently the No. 7 seed in the AFC and would earn the final wild-card postseason spot if the season ends today. Needless to say, there is a little pressure on the team today to beat the Tennessee Titans this week.

Dan Quinn also has the potential to lead the team to the playoffs in his first season with the club, which is incredible given the team’s record of 4-13 a season ago.

One player who will help Washington significantly is four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who arrived from the New Orleans Saints with a hamstring injury. According to Nicki Jhabvala, the star defender is “closer” to making his debut in the burgundy and gold.

Here are the official Commander scores:

Doubtful:

Lattimiore is listed as questionable and Quinn has not ruled him out as he has in the last three games. There might be an incentive to keep Lattimore out of this game, even if he’s close to making his debut.

Commanders running back Austin Ekeler is out with a concussion he suffered late in the team’s recent loss.

After the Commanders take on the Titans, they have a bye week after 13 games played. With four games left after Tennessee, it might make more sense to have Lattimore at 100% with an extra week of work.
