Will Neymar play for Al-Hilal against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League tonight?

The host team needs to continue their winning streak and are confident of securing victory in Riyadh after winning five of the last six meetings between the two teams.

Al-Hilal were expected to win another domestic championship after winning the league last time out with a comfortable 94 points and no defeat, but this season they face strong opponents in the title race: Al-Ittihad.

Midway through the season, both teams sit at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings with 40 points, but Jorge Jesus’ side has a slight advantage due to their better goal difference, partly due to their 9-0 win against Al-Fateh the previous game.

As the team prepares to part ways with Neymar. Al Za’eem are showing no signs of slowing down offensively with an impressive 14 goals in their last two games and a league-high 48 goals this season.

Will Neymar play tonight?

Neymar will not play in the Saudi Pro League against Al-Wehda tonight as he was not included in the league squad by his manager Jorge Jesus due to his injury and fitness issues.

Al Hilal reportedly wants Neymar to take part in the Club World Cup in the summer. But Neymar believes it is time for a move and does not want to wait until June to play frequently. Since his transfer more than a year and a half ago, he has only played seven games in all competitions and scored one goal.

Neymar has expressed a desire to return to Brazil after a difficult spell at Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where injuries limited his participation to just seven games with a single goal. The 32-year-old was reportedly excited about the opportunity to return to Santos and the team have reportedly offered him a six-month loan deal to do so.
