Will OL sign with Alabama football in 2025?

As the early signing period begins, Alabama football could see some movement in the 2025 recruiting class.

While the Crimson Tide expect to sign five-star players Keelon Russell, Dijon Lee and Michael Carroll on Wednesday, the status of five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood in Alabama’s class has become more unclear.

Here’s the latest on Haywood and Alabama.

Will Alabama football sign Ty Haywood?

According to 247Sports, Haywood will not sign with a college football program during the early signing period. This would reportedly result in Haywood leaving Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class.

Haywood committed to Alabama on July 14 after reportedly taking official visits to UCLA, TCU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida State.

According to 247Sports, Michigan is considered the favorite to secure Haywood’s future. On3 reports that Michigan will try to get Haywood to visit Ann Arbor before a decision in February.

Haywood was one of five offensive linemen in Alabama’s class, along with Michael Carroll, Jackson Lloyd, Micah DeBose and Mal Waldrep.
