With Aaron Rodgers, Steelers become a “other team”, Big Ben believes

From one future Hall of Famer to the next, Ben Roethlisberger highs the prospects of Aaron Rodgers high in 2025. While Rodgers continues to carry his feet to a decision, all the signs indicate that he will finally sign with the team. According to Roethlisberger, this will completely transform the Steelers.

“When Aaron comes here, the team gets so much better,” said Roethlisberger, while he raised his hand over his footy podcast on YouTube in the air. “I mean, you get a Hall of Famer here, it is so much better. The crime suddenly becomes another team. This is Aaron Rodgers. I mean, this is another animal. You can say what you want, he can’t move as much as he earlier and the other. You know what is still working? His arm and his brain.

“I think that’s something that this team does immediately that you can think about when they have the weapons and this guy.”

No insult to Russell Wilson, a potential future Hall of Famer, but Rodgers is a four -time MVP and is a castle to be a Hall of Famer in the first ballot. Even this version of Rodgers would be the best quarterback game that this team had had since Roethlisberger’s elbow injury in 2019. And it’s not particularly tight.

Coincidentally, this should also be the best -supporting line -up since the same time. The receiving corps is definitely in its best point in years after trading, to acquire DK Metcalf, and the offensive line is young and talented with all the potential of the world to have a strong 2025.

Roethlisberger believes that the throwing session between Rodgers and Metcalf last weekend is a pretty good indication that he will sign at the Steelers at some point. However, he wonders why he hadn’t already signed. How many of us believe Roethlisberger that the holdup could be related to the Minnesota Vikings.

“The reason why he has not yet signed in my opinion … I think Aaron still secretly considers himself to Minnesota,” theorized Roethlisberger. “Why else do you not? Why would you otherwise throw and train with DK and bring it out?”

The Vikings would probably give him a better chance of stepping deep into the playoffs, but they decided to push JJ McCarthy forward while they had the door for Rodgers slightly cracked if their quarterback did not look ready in the second year after his injury.

“I just think that he thinks that Minnesota is a more complete, narrower team to win a super bowl, and he may not be wrong,” said Roethlisberger.

Art Rooney II made it clear this morning that they won’t wait for Rodgers forever. If he decides to stay far in Otas for the Vikings, the Steelers can only decide to continue with Mason Rudolph. Would Rodgers really take this kind of gambling and risk without staying without a team?

Between the throwing meeting with Metcalf and the positive meeting with decision -makers in Pittsburgh, it seems that Rodgers will soon go to Pittsburgh to sign the dotted line.
