Woman allegedly had detailed plans for murder plot

A Virginia woman’s alleged plans to have someone killed were stopped by police. Now she is accused of criminal incitement to commit murder.

On Nov. 26, 44-year-old Gennevieve McGhee communicated with a “confidential source,” the Henry County Sheriff’s Office said in a media release posted on Facebook. The source cooperated with law enforcement and was able to capture audio and video of her conversation with McGhee at her home in Ridgeway, Virginia, a town near the state line with North Carolina. At this meeting she is said to have provided “detailed” information about the robbery and murder of an unknown person.
