“My brother, this is not your car, this is my car,” Solano is heard saying to Rabindranauth, who begs him to let him out of the Corvette.

“Can I get out?” the failed car thief asks boldly.

“No, you can’t go out. We’re calling the police,” Solano says sternly.

“Without the keys, the car’s electrical components do not work, and fortunately he was unaware of the manual door release under the seat,” Solano told Local 10.

Investigators told Local 10 that Solano warned exotic car rental company Premiere Auto Miami 1 – which stores similar vehicles in the garage – about the incident.

“Just be alert, you know when you get in and out of your car, be alert and aware of your surroundings,” Solano shared.

He faces one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $2,500 bail.
