WTA Singapore End forecast – Mertens against Li

The last match at the WTA Singapore Tennis Open will not have dropped a set with the American Ann Li-Der all week-that will take the veteran Elise Mertens, who wants to win her ninth title at tour level. As always, we will offer our prediction for the final and the ATP campaign in Montpellier here at LWOT, but who will be ahead?

This final represents a fascinating contrast in styles and experience. Li enjoys a groundbreaking run, shows its aggressive base game and an increasing 30 for most of her career. In fact, the Belgian’s ability to neutralize big hinters with her counterstop and intelligent choice of firing has made an impressive opponent

Li will try to use her powerful basic strokes and the rapidly improved court reporting to build on the successes that she has already enjoyed this week – at the Beat Daria Saville, Maria Timofeeva, Kimberly Birrell and Top -Samen Anna Kalinkaya (although above Via retirement). Li will probably try to determine your forehand and flat beating, but it may not be easy for you, since Mertens is excellent in absorption of speed and rallies, which could test the patience of Li.

In view of the fact that the final is so often under pressure, Mertens’ greater experience could only give her a significant advantage if it is most important.
