WWE SHUT OFF RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 13

Never starve, never thrive, I fell victim to failure. Inner battle triggered again, now the candle is burning at both ends and I’m live blogging this pro wrestling show for you guys.

The show begins with the usual montage of talent arriving at the arena.

The “big” Jim Uso appears, hobbling on a crutch because of his broken toe, and sits down at the microphone.

He corrects the crowd chanting “Yeet” and points out that it’s the other twin and WarGames was set on fire, but his big toe was caught. He talks about being with the family you have that you might not like, maybe having a big fight but you recover and throw it all together and the OG bloodline comes out on top.

But WarGames is behind us now and the question lies ahead. He has watched his family dominate and entertain the WWE Universe for years, since he was knee high, and he is proud to be a part of it. He’s seen Roman Reigns be the most dominant champion and he’s proud of that. He’s watched his twin brother become one of the hottest superstars today and he’s proud of that.

He is even proud of his little brother Solo Sikoa. He may not like what he does, but he is proud of the boy. With that said, he also asks himself the question, actually reading what we say and asking: What’s next for Big Jim? The answer is that he doesn’t know, but he wants us to ride with Big Jim.

Maybe he wins the Royal Rumble, maybe he wins the world title, but it’s going to be a big year and he’s going to show up week after week, no Jey, no Sami, no Roman, no Wiseman, no CM Punk, your boy Big Jim is here with us appeared on a big toe and this is how it will be –

DREW MCINTYRE TAKES OUT BIG JIM WITH A CLAYMORE OUT OF NOWHERE! Drew followed with mounted punches while Nick Aldis led a crowd of traffic cops and referees to separate him from Big Jim! McIntyre walks away with a smug smile on his face, with Nick Aldis hot on his heels, lecturing him the entire time.

Tiffany Stratton is warming up backstage when Nia Jax and Candice LeRae show up.

Stratton says she’s ready and it’s Tiffy time and no one will take that away from her. Nia says if she wins the US Championship she won’t need her briefcase anymore and they both wish her good luck as we go to break.

Backstage, Nick Aldis is still lecturing Drew McIntyre that if he keeps this up, he won’t take him to SmackDown, no matter how long they’ve known each other, and he tells Drew to wait in his office for Bianca Belair and Naomi to roll up Stop them and ask why he wants to talk to you.

He says they’re working to find out who attacked Jade Cargill, but in the meantime he sees no choice but to forfeit the tag titles. Naomi says Bianca hasn’t given up anything in her career and she’s happy to defend the titles with her. Belair points out that this has happened before, and Nick says he’ll keep the flag up, but they better be prepared to defend the titles against real competition as early as next week.

“Michin” Mia Yim vs. Tiffany Stratton (WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament semifinal match)

Collar and elbow, into the corner, clean break, back to the lockup, Stratton takes her down and Yim retaliates with grounded punches! Dropkick into the corner, chops and elbows, whip reversed, Mia with a boot up to block the attack! Frankensteiner, shoulder block, Michin throws her to the floor and lands a boot!

The penalty is converted into a trip on the apron, it’s time for Tiffy, a quick dropkick on the apron and she poses cute as a button for the camera as we go to break!

Back from commercial, Stratton lands badly on the floor and Yim takes advantage of her by sending her back into the house with a DDT, followed by a tornado DDT…NO! Looking for Sole Food, rejected, Alabama Slam blocked, Mia turns it into a tarantula on the apron! Missile dropkick follows, cartwheel sets up the Alabama Slam… NOT ENOUGH!

Michin struggles in the turnbuckles and sits up, but Tiffany cuts her off! Fireman’s Carry, Finlay Roll, Double Jump… MOONSAULT CONTACTS BUT MIA ROLLS AWAY AND LANDS BADLY! Michin uses…

Mia Yim wins by pinfall with Sole Food.

We get a flashback to how #DIY won the tag titles last week and prevailed, and they did a black and white promo about how the Bloodline embarrassed them, and Johnny is happy that the Engine City Machine Guns got their flowers, it’s just a shame they got them at their funeral.

We will break our promise to hear from Roman Reigns.

Back from commercial, we get a look back at the all-new, all-different Bloodline that captivated everyone last week.

We get the promised Roman Reigns promo video.

He talks about how the bloodline fell apart when he lost his title and his sage, but most importantly he lost the garland of tribal chieftain. Solo Sikoa was not here when he deserved it four years ago, when his father and his uncle, the wild Samoans, crowned him and realized that he could take on the responsibility of leading the family.

For some, January 6th is Netflix, but for him, it’s Tribal Combat. Both bloodlines have one, and he wants to leave the tribes on the side and let them watch, tribal chief against tribal chief. On January 6th he takes back his bloodline, his garland and his respect.

One comment touts a press event WWE will be hosting for Netflix next Wednesday.

Legado del Fantasma talks to Nick Aldis backstage and complains about how he runs the show and maybe they would be better off with Adam Pearce on Raw.

They go to call him and Carmelo Hayes comes over to talk about how great he’s going to do against this mystery opponent and we head out.

Back from commercial is Carmelo Hayes’ mystery opponent… BRAUN STROWMAN!

Braun Strowman vs. Carmelo Hayes

Hayes picks up the pace, gets off the ropes, big crossbody…HE CHECKS OFF STROWMAN! Braun dodges elbow drops, double axhandle and clubbing blows and lifts him up, but he slips out and knocks the monster out of the way until he hits the post! Knee dropkick, Melo springboard… FADE AWAY ONLY GETS ONE COUNT!

Braun catches him on another dive…

Braun Strowman wins by pinfall with the running powerslam.

LA Knight is interviewed backstage.

He doesn’t care about the bloodline, they have nothing to offer him, he makes fun of the tribal chief’s garland and says the whole family can go to hell, except Jey Uso. Solo let his red necklace get in the way of LA’s gold belt, ramming his fist into his face and his foot up his ass.

And so we take a break.

Back from commercial, the all-new, all-different bloodline appears and Solo Sikoa gets on the microphone and demands recognition in the face of the ever-louder chants of “You suck!” and “OTC.”

He calls out Roman Reigns, but is interrupted by his opponent’s appearance.

LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa

Knight elbows Sikoa into the corner, Solo explodes on him, in the next corner a big right chop cuts him down and he follows with headbutts! LA sends him to the floor with a lariat, Sikoa hits him and drags him to the floor, slamming him into the apron and sending his head bouncing off the announce table!

Solo hits his one-up with Tama Tonga and “Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu on the floor before throwing Knight back into the barricade and breaking the count. LA rolls back in, Sikoa with the Samoan drop, grazes the eyes, back to the floor, spinning solo lands on the announce table and we head to break!

Back from commercial, Solo called for it like Roman, Superman Punch countered with a back suplex! Knight puts together a run, BFT saves and Sikoa rolls to the floor! LA goes after him, back body drop sends Fatu over the desk! As he brings Solo back in, Knight cuts him off with a superkick, but he hits the Side Effect!

Knight sits on the second turnbuckle and spells it out: Double Jump Elbow Drop… NOT ENOUGH! Jacob is back on his feet, he attacks LA and the referee has no choice…

LA Knight wins by disqualification.

After the match, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu work over Knight, leaving him at Solo’s tender mercy… SAMOAN SPIKE!

Andrade el Idolo and Apollo Crews try to save, but the Bloodline thwarts their plans too!

Backstage, Pretty Deadly bring Braun Strowman over and say they were looking for a monster for their musical and he was perfect! Strowman pushes the script back to them and they point out that’s a no as he leaves.

Byron Saxton invites the Monster for an interview, but A-Town Down Under interrupts and invites Braun to the Grayson Waller Effect next week. Strowman accepts and says he’ll see her next week!

Bayley comes in to send us to break.
