Wyden demands answers to the Musk staff who are looking for access to the US financial system

Senator Ron Wyden, D-OR. The system, which is managed by apolitical employees, takes over trillion dollars every year, including social security and medicare services, tax credits and payments to government companies, some of which compete with companies in possession of Musks.

“In order to express it bluntly, these payment systems simply cannot fail, and all politically motivated interference in them risk serious damage to our country and the economy,” wrote Wyden in a letter to Besset. “I am deeply concerned that these civil servants who are connected to Musk may have intended to access these payment systems according to the Federal Grant and Loan freezen at the beginning of this week in order to illegally keep payments illegal.”
