Youngbloods’ “get together” singer was 83

Jesse Colin Young, the singer, songwriter and founding member of the Youngbloods, the group of the 1960s, which is best known for their top -10 hit “Get Togin”, has died. He was 83.

Young died on Sunday in his house in Aiken, South Carolina, his wife and manager Connie Young.
