Your first warning of a sunny but much colder end to the week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – It was cloudy and windy for most of the day, with a few light showers this evening, but there will be dry air and a sharp drop in temperatures towards the end of the week.

TONIGHT: Clear winds becoming northwest 5 to 15 mph and overnight lows in the lower to mid 30s.

THURSDAY: Sunny and cold with a breezy north wind 10 to 15 mph and high temperatures in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY EVENING: Clear and cold with a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph and overnight lows in the lower 20s.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with afternoon highs just around 40°C and nighttime lows in the upper 20s.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be partly cloudy, with highs around 50° and overnight lows around 40°. Sunday will be cloudy and rainy, along with high temperatures in the mid 50s and overnight lows in the lower 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be cloudy with a few scattered showers, highs will be in the mid 60s and overnight lows will be in the mid 40s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a scattered shower, highs will be in the mid 50s and overnight lows in the mid 30s. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid to upper 40s and overnight lows in the lower 30s.
